How do I track my shipment?+
Once your carrier is assigned, you'll receive a tracking link, the driver's direct phone number, and daily SMS/email updates from dispatch. Most loads also include live GPS through our partner carriers.
How often do I get updates?+
Daily during transit at minimum — more often during pickup, in-transit milestones (state crossings), and delivery. You can also text or call the driver directly any time.
What if I lose the tracking link?+
Call dispatch at 888-996-1069 or email info@crossstateautotransport.com and we'll resend the link instantly. Your dispatcher can also verbally update you on current status.
Why doesn't GPS show my exact car location?+
GPS tracks the carrier truck, not each individual vehicle on board. Since your car stays on the same truck for the entire route, the truck's location is your car's location — accurate within a few miles.
What does each tracking status mean?+
'Posted' = your load is live on the carrier board. 'Dispatched' = a specific carrier is assigned. 'Picked up' = vehicle is on the truck. 'In transit' = en route to delivery. 'Delivered' = signed off and complete.
