Driver loading a sedan onto an open car carrier trailer
Process

Quote to delivery in six steps.

No surprises. No mystery fees. No call-center runaround.

Before you book

The whole process — before you click anything.

Shipping a car is one of those things that feels intimidating right up until the moment you've done it once. The trucks are big, the paperwork looks industrial, and every other broker website reads like it was written by a lawyer. We're going to skip that and walk you through the actual sequence.

You'll start by giving us two ZIP codes and a vehicle. We pull that against the live carrier load board — the same one drivers themselves bid against — and quote you the real market price for the lane, not a teaser. If you book, we post the load and start matching a specific driver to your VIN. No money moves until that driver is assigned, named, and reachable by phone.

When the driver arrives at pickup, they'll do a walkaround with you and write the existing condition onto the Bill of Lading. That document is the legal record of your vehicle's state at load. You both sign it. The same walkaround happens at delivery — if anything changed in transit, it's documented and the claim is on the carrier's policy, not yours. We file it for you.

That's the whole arc. The six steps below just put names on it.

    Pickup & Bill of Lading

Driver walks the vehicle with you, notes any existing condition on the BOL, and you both sign. Keys go in the truck.

  5. 05
    Transit & dispatch tracking

Standard transit is 1–3 days in-state, 3–5 days short haul, 5–10 days coast-to-coast. Your dispatcher keeps you posted.

  6. 06
    Delivery & inspection

Driver calls 24 hours ahead. At delivery, you inspect against the BOL, sign, and pay the driver (cash, certified check, money order). Done.

FAQ

Questions, answered

What happens after I approve the quote?+

We email a one-page service agreement to e-sign, no deposit required. Once signed, dispatch posts your load to the national carrier board and matches it with the right truck for your lane and timing — typically within 1–3 business days.

How will I know my carrier has been assigned?+

You'll get an SMS and email with the driver's name, truck number, direct phone line, and pickup ETA the moment dispatch confirms the assignment. From that point on you can text the driver directly.

What happens at pickup?+

The driver inspects the vehicle with you, photographs all four corners, notes any existing damage on the Bill of Lading, and both of you sign. Keys go to the driver, and the truck departs. Total time: 20–40 minutes.

What happens during transit?+

Daily SMS/email updates from dispatch plus the driver's direct phone for real-time questions. GPS tracking is available on most carriers. Cross-country loads typically check in every 24–36 hours.

What happens at delivery?+

Driver calls ahead with a 2–4 hour arrival window. At delivery, walk the vehicle against the original BOL, note any new damage in writing before signing, take photos, and pay the driver. Done.
