Privacy Policy

Last updated January 1, 2026. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

Cross State Auto Transport ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes the information we collect when you visit our website, request a shipping quote, communicate with our team, or book auto transport services, and how that information is used and protected.

Information we collect

  • Contact details you provide: name, phone number, email address, and pickup/delivery addresses.
  • Shipment details: vehicle year/make/model, condition, preferred dates, and special instructions.
  • Payment information processed through secure third-party processors. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
  • Automatically collected data: IP address, browser type, referring page, and analytics events used to improve the site.

How we use information

We use the information you provide to generate accurate quotes, dispatch your shipment to a vetted carrier, communicate status updates, process payments, and meet our legal and regulatory obligations as an FMCSA-licensed transportation broker.

Sharing with carriers

To deliver the service you requested, we share the minimum information necessary (pickup address, delivery address, vehicle, contact phone) with the licensed motor carrier assigned to your shipment. Carriers are contractually required to use that information only to perform your transport.

We do not sell your data

We never sell or rent your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. We do not lead-broker your quote request to multiple competing companies.

Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences, measure traffic, and improve the user experience. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; some features may not work as expected if you do.

Communication preferences

When you request a quote, you agree to be contacted by phone, SMS, or email about your shipment. You may opt out of marketing messages at any time by replying STOP to a text or clicking unsubscribe in any email. Transactional messages related to an active shipment will continue.

Data retention & security

We retain shipment records for the period required by FMCSA regulations and applicable tax/accounting law. Information is stored on secured systems with industry-standard access controls and encryption in transit.

Your rights

You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate data, or request deletion (subject to legal record-keeping requirements). Email info@crossstateautotransport.com to submit a request.

Children's privacy

Our services are intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated through a banner on the site.
